Check-In & Check-Out

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. All of our condos are self check-in — we'll send you the door code once your condo is ready.


Can I check in early?

We'll always do our best to accommodate an early arrival. That said, it really depends on how busy our cleaning team is on the day you arrive. In general, we're often able to get you into the condo somewhere between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, and we'll keep you posted on the progress throughout the day.

As soon as your condo is prepped and ready, we'll send you a message with the door code.

If you arrive before your condo is ready, you're welcome to hang out at the resort — enjoy the pool, grab a seat on the lawn, or take a walk on the beach while we finish up.


Can I check out late?

We understand the appeal of a slow last morning — we get it. Unfortunately, we usually can't offer late checkouts because it puts our cleaning team in a tough spot. We value every guest's experience equally, and a late checkout for one stay could mean the next guest doesn't walk into a fully prepared condo.

That said, it never hurts to ask as your trip gets closer. During the offseason, we can often be more flexible. During peak summer months, though, it's typically not something we're able to do.

Cancellations & Refunds

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand plans change — it happens. We have a straightforward cancellation policy designed to be fair for everyone. The refund you receive depends on how far in advance you cancel before your check-in date.

How do I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel directly from your reservation confirmation page using the cancellation link, or just reach out to us and we'll take care of it. We'll always confirm the cancellation and let you know what to expect for your refund.


How long does a refund take?

Once we process your cancellation, refunds are returned to your original payment method. In most cases, you'll see the refund within 5 to 7 business days, though your bank may take a little longer to post it.


What if I paid with split payment — how does a cancellation work?

If you chose our split payment option, your refund is based on the total reservation amount according to our cancellation policy — regardless of whether your balance payment has been charged yet.

If you cancel before the balance is due, we'll refund the appropriate portion of your deposit. If the balance has already been charged, we'll refund based on the full amount paid. Either way, we'll walk you through the details.


What about extenuating circumstances?

Life is unpredictable. If something truly unexpected comes up — a natural disaster, a medical emergency, travel restrictions — please reach out to us directly. We're real people, and we'll always do our best to work with you.

Parking

Is parking included?

Yes — parking for one vehicle is included with your reservation. You'll find a parking pass in the condo, typically on the kitchen counter. Just hang it from your rearview mirror and you're all set.

Monterey Bay guests: The first floor of the parking garage is reserved for larger vehicles. If you have a standard-sized car, please head up the ramp to the 2nd floor or above. If you do have a larger vehicle and need to park on the first floor, just check in with the front desk for a first-floor parking pass.

Air Travel & Luggage

I have a late flight (or early arrival) — what do I do with my luggage?

If you've checked out but have time to kill before your flight, you're always welcome to hang out at the resort — enjoy the pool or the beach while you wait.

For luggage storage, we highly recommend Market Common. It's very close to the Myrtle Beach airport, which makes it perfect for air travelers. They offer a free concierge service where they'll tag and store your bags in a secure room — even large items like golf bags are no problem.

Market Common is also a great spot to grab a bite, do some shopping, or just walk around. It's a wonderful way to enjoy your last few hours in town.

Beach Gear

Do you provide beach chairs?

We do — you'll find two beach chairs in the condo for your use. That said, we'd also recommend renting chairs and umbrellas directly from the lifeguards on the beach. It's easy and convenient.

Umbrella and chair rentals are available daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. You can rent for a full day or multiple days at a time — just claim your spot by renting directly from the beach attendants.

Rentals are typically available from mid-April through late September. More info is available at Myrtle Beach Surf Rescue.

In the Condo

What's the coffee situation?

We've got you covered — well, almost. We recently installed one of those Keurig Duo machines, so you can use either K-Cups or a traditional drip carafe. Best of both worlds.

We typically keep filters stocked in the cabinet above the coffee maker. We don't provide coffee itself, so you'll want to bring your favorite brand or pick some up on the way in.

Mail & Shipping

Can I have packages shipped to the resort?

At Beach Colony, you can ship directly to the resort address and the front desk will hold the package for you. Just bring a valid ID when you pick it up.

For all other resorts or for longer stays, we recommend a couple of approaches:

  • Rent a PO box — local post offices and UPS/FedEx stores offer temporary mailbox rentals that work well for extended stays.
  • Amazon Locker — if you're ordering from Amazon, you can ship to a nearby locker. The closest one is at the Kohl's building, just a short drive away.
