Welcome to our oceanfront getaway at The Caravelle Resort. This 5th-floor studio features brand-new, modern, high-end finishes throughout. The standout feature is the oversized private balcony - big enough for a sectional sofa and lounge chair - where you can enjoy the ocean breeze without fighting for pool chairs.
The space sleeps four with a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. Inside, everything is clean and modern with a full kitchen so you can cook your own meals. The smart TV has streaming apps for quiet nights in. The Caravelle's location on the quieter northern end of Myrtle Beach makes it easy to relax without the downtown noise.
When you do want to venture out, The Caravelle's block-long poolscape is genuinely impressive - lazy river, multiple pools, hot tubs, and the Marco Polo Pool Bar. Santa Maria Restaurant on-site means you don't even have to leave the property for a nice dinner. Restaurant Row and Barefoot Landing are just a short drive away.

The deck didn’t disappoint. Perfect spot to relax, drink my morning coffee, afternoon tea, grown up beverages. Easy access to beach for daily walks, shell collecting, sunbathing. Everything;shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues within 10 minutes or less. A very nice experience and I hope to come back.

Room was very clean and bathroom was great too. Located within 10 mins of the tanger outlet and to some great restaurants.. Less crowed on the beach than the boardwalk, so was very peaceful..
Steve and Sarah are super nice people to rent from. <br/>Their room was amazing. We felt at home as soon as we got there, the deluxe balcony is a major plus. There was nothing like laying on the couch outside in the sun listening to the waves. Definitely recommend getting this place for your stay in myrtle beach. We will looking into this place again upon our next trip down.

Pros: <br/>-Ease of beach access. In and out; great for families with kids who aren’t sure how long they will be at the beach. <br/>-Pool area: while it’s small and dated my kids (9y) still very much enjoyed<br/>-Hot water & water pressure <br/>-Location to main highway and attractions<br/>-Nice view from patio <br/>-Host was responsive and easy to contact<br/> <br/>Cons:<br/>-Dated property; the resort is pretty rundown<br/>-Parking Lot: complete nightmare. Small lot. Not a lot of turn around room. BRING THE SMALLEST CAR YOU HAVE. <br/>-Check in time: 4pm is late when you have small kids<br/>-Patio use-ability: it LOOKS nice but everything is uncomfortable and not useable for functional lounging<br/>-Small condo: it’s a studio. We are two small people and we have 2 small kids. It was tight with luggage and beach gear. Just be mindful if you are larger/have larger kids.

Everything was what the pictures showed, the view from the balcony is nice. I only wish the building had lights for the balcony during the evening hours. The building itself is old but the condo was updated and well maintained. The balcony furniture oddly kept getting wet, and we were unsure why perhaps a neighbor above. Communication was great location was good relatively close to the main strip. However parking can be stressful section of the buildings parking was closed. Aside from all of that it was wonderful to stay there and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Loved staying here with my daughter. Two people can be very comfortable here. A couple with one child too. Four would be too crowded. The deck is to die for!! The beach is perfect. You are close to both Myrtle Beach & North Myrtle Beach activities & restaurants. Kitchen is equipped perfectly with all the basic essentials. Condo was perfectly clean. Building is old but so are a thousand other resorts in the area. But you can tell the owners really took the time to renovate their condo and it is super cute. Bed is comfortable. Plus!! The only thing I would tweak is the keypad to get in. You are given a code but when you hit the keypad to activate the light, it is really your first number used up. If your number is 1023 then your first time hitting keypad should try and be close the the "1" or whatever your first number is. My daughter and I felt very safe in this condo. The parking deck is a little tight but I never had trouble finding a spot. Overall, a great stay!!!!

Steve and Sarah are great hosts. Loved the location overlooking the beach. We watched a pod of dolphins swim by on the last look from the balcony before we had to leave.
Overall decent stay. The numerical pad was not lit up and we could not tell that it was what it was so we left. Host got back to us in a decent time and we went back and got in. For the positives - Great location close to a lot of things. The outside balcony was amazing and made it worth the time we were there. I loved that there was a full-sized refrigerator and oven. For the areas of improvement - I think the unlit pad should be written in the notes when letting guests know about the property so they are not confused. Cleanliness was mostly ok but there was hair in multiple towels. The bed was super hard and not comfortable at all. The patio furniture was a bit run down and ripped in spots. I was super jealous looking over at other balconies that had floating egg chairs and such. I think it was super weird that there were no pot holders and I had to use a towel to get our food out of the oven. With that being said, hosts were friendly and it was an alright place to stay.
We loved our stay! The room had everything we might have needed, and the balcony was amazing! Quiet, private, plenty to do in the hotel, and felt right at home! Definitely recommend, and will book again!

We were very happy to stay here for the week! Everything was clean and as described. Location was great and although it’s a large building with a lot of units it was quiet and you couldn’t hear the neighbors. Lazy river, and pool were great! Easy access to the beach and a great location to North Myrtle and downtown Myrtle. Close to grocery stores (we really liked the Publix), restaurants and shopping! Hosts were very responsive and communicative! We will absolutely stay with Steve and Sarah again!

The place was clean and as advertised, we had one issue but Steve Sarah was very accommodating in try to resolve the issue and refunded us a night when the issue wasn’t able to get remedied. Overall I was happy with my experience.

I never leave reviews.. good or bad.. but this time I just had to. My boyfriend and I came for a short getaway from work. I chose this place because of the balcony. It did not disappoint! It was so nice to have such a big couch and the circle chair was perfect for watching the storm that came through. (There was a bolt or screw missing so when it started really coming down I had to go inside 😂) It’s conveniently located right by Publix, food lion, the dollar store.. so much is less than 5 minutes away! The original Benjamin’s is a must!! The crab legs are delicious!!! The beach was beautiful! I’ve never seen the water so clear here. Our view was amazing! Thank you so much Steve and Sarah for hosting us. Perfect little couples getaway spot!
Steve and Sarah’s place was a great location with access directly to the beach! The balcony was spacious but the patio furniture could use some updating. The parking was convenient. The hotel/condo complex itself is a little rundown but overall a great value for a vacation in Myrtle Beach. Steve and Sarah were fast to respond and had easy instructions for our stay!
The room is just as pictured. It was a bit smaller than I expected but we made it work. Two of the nights we were kept up by people shooting off fireworks and twice we had someone bang on the door and run away. Probably kids. The facility itself is extremely run down and dirty but the pools were clean the we didn't have any trouble parking. The room is just off the elevator so getting down to the beach was a breeze.
Right off the bat communication was great. We had a 16 hour drive so just knowing our room was ready (early) was piece of mind knowing we could get there and settle in at whatever time after that. The room is beautiful and welcoming; anything you could think of needing it probably had. <br/>We have two toddlers and if we weren’t on the beach we were laying out in the patio enjoying the sun, wind and sound of the waves crashing. Its absolutely beautiful just sitting out there taking it all in. <br/>The location is also quite perfect because no matter what we went and did it was always 20 mins or less away. <br/>Would HIGHLY recommend staying with Steve and Sarah!

We enjoyed our stay, absolutely beautiful view which is worth the money. We loved walking right down to the beach. It was a little tight for our family of 4 but that is because we have 2 young, active kids. The sun deck was a life saver. Only downside is the mattress hurt our old bones! But that wouldn't stop us from returning. Lovely place!
Great place to stay the balcony did t disappoint
The hosts were very responsive and the location was great! The ocean view on the huge deck was the very best part and we spent a lot of time either there or on the beach! We didn't use the pool area as it was shaded most of the day and it really looked a lot more spacious in the pictures but we were fine with that. The Tiki bar was closed the days we were there. As others have said, don't let the area or the outside of the building scare you. It's very old and was probably an old hotel that people bought and renovated to their own decor. It was nice that you could stay on the floor of the parking garage associated with your room so it was never a far walk to the car. The room was nice but did need some paint and maybe a new bed? There wasn't an iron in the room (I know, old people problems!) The listing said washer and dryer but it was located on the first floor. I would say that the description is fairly accurate! Anytime we're by the ocean is all that matters!

Wow! What an amazing place! It was exactly as described, simple yet had everything we needed. We loved the views and could spend hours sitting on patio enjoys all the sights and sounds. The pool area was great and fun for all ages. Steve and Sarah were great with communicating before, during and after the trip. It is very reassuring to have hosts like that!
Steve and Sarah are a great host, they are very responsive and accommodating. We had a good time staying in this Airbnb, it was exactly as it appear in the pictures with awesome beach view. Not very close from all the attractions but not too far.
Great view of the beach. Perfect size place for a couple. Very responsive Host. Nothing against the host or their actual place, our stay was nice. Once you step outside of the door, the building is poorly kept and not the cleanest environment. Some of the elevators were down, expect to smell marijuana nonstop even though there are no smoking signs.

We had a wonderful visit! The location was wonderful and that balcony… wow. We didn’t even have to get our feet sandy to feel like we were right on the beach! The smart TV was wonderful, and I love the feature of the auto sign out of all of the apps on the day of departure. The bed was comfortable, there were so many comfy pillows and plenty of towels to accommodate our 5 day stay. The best part is really the outdoor space. You just can’t beat it!

This was our first time in myrtle beach and I gotta say that the place is perfect. Only a short walking distance to the beach also they have a pool, lazy River and hot tub in the facility. <br/>We spent our mornings in the beach and it was amazing. Our evenings my wife and I sat on the balcony and just enjoyed the view. <br/>The place was clean and neat when we arrived. <br/>Communication with them was always easy. They answered all of our questions and were available for recommendations<br/>Definitely going back. <br/>Thank you Sarah and Steve
Steve and Sarah’s place was a great spot to enjoy a beach vacation. The pictures accurately show the unit. We loved having the kitchen and cookware available to us during our stay and it was just steps from the beach in a quiet area. I would recommend a car since it is about 10 minutes from most places but you can make it work if you are trying to stay local. We appreciated the communication from Steve & Sarah and enjoyed our stay. Thanks again!

Do not be fooled by the appearance of the resorts exterior! It is definitely an older building and very much shows its age ok the exterior. Steve and Sarah provide excellent, accurate photos on their listing. The room is beautiful. It is well decorated, spotless clean, and very comfortable. It is worth the price and then some! You'll be extremely close to prominent Myrtle Beach attractions like the boardwalk and Broadway at the Beach. But also you'll be just far enough up the beach that your stretch of Beach along the resort will not be crowded. Plenty of delicious food within walking distance. Uber and Lyft available to the resort almost instantly 24/7. We never moved our car once we checked in until we checked out! Thank you Steve and Sarah for a memorable stay in your amazing airbnb!

Beautiful view from the large patio that has plenty of comfy seating! Condo is well stocked and decorated with some neat lighting. Elevators were nice and quick. Attached parking garage was totally closed for some reason but there is another parking garage across the street which seemed fairly full for off season.
Great view, which is why booked this place! Loved waking up with the sights and sounds of waves crashing. Perfect size for a single traveler or couple. Room was clean and kitchen appliances updated. Easy walk to restaurants.

An amazing room, location, and overall experience. It was very peaceful and the area surrounding was nice. If you are looking for a good area this is the spot! The location at the beach was also perfect, right on the water and also not a lot of traffic. Very calming at night on the balcony. The room was very clean and nice! So beautiful! My husband and I both made the comment we will be using them again for future visits!

Steve and Sarah did an amazing job of making sure you feel comfortable and relaxed and responded to any messages in a timely manner! We had everything we needed while we were there and it was very clean and smelled good. The balcony is amazing and definitely one of the best features. We stayed out on it all night and into the morning to watch the sunrise.

We had a lovely stay. Condo is very clean. The host is very pleasant and is quick to answer all questions. The photos are slightly misleading on size. The resort is converted from an older hotel (1960-70 vintage) . The condo is the size of a typical hotel room with a queen size bed. Other than that, it was just what we wanted. It is right on the beach. There is a patio, more than a balcony! It overlooks the beach with a nice view. Several restaurants are within walking distance and just 2 miles from Carolina Opry. It was comfortable for 2, I don't think it would be comfortable for more. AC was very good on 90 degree days. There is a small beach umbrella and chairs in the condo; however, Myrtle does rent nice umbrella's right on the beach. They are a bit pricey ($45 for one day, $40/day for multiple). We did rent. Overall I would give host 5 stars and the room 4 out 5 mostly because it was a bit smaller than we anticipated - but it worked out great!

This place is exactly as pictured. The views are amazing and the extended balcony is a treat! The only issue we encountered regarding cleanliness, is there were cigarette ashes and dirt on the outdoor furniture that we needed to clean before we could enjoy the outdoor space. Besides that the unit was clean, offered a great location, the pull-out couch and bed were comfy (I’d only suggest adding a heavier blanket for each). We didn’t spend much time in the room but an updated tv would be a great addition as well so that guests can enjoy streaming services if they’d like. The resort amenities were a added bonus to our trip (the pools, hot tub, hammocks on floor 7, lazy river and poolside bar). Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the Santa Maria Restaurant attached to the resort because we were not residents or guests of the resort (this wasn’t a bummer because a breakfast restaurant was a short walk about 8 min away).<br/>Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this Airbnb and will definitely book again for our next Myrtle Beach Trip. The hosts were attentive and offered great instruction for check-in and check-out and even allowed an early check-in once the space had been cleaned. If you’re looking for an amazing stay in Myrtle Beach this is the place!
For the money, it was decent. We expected a “luxury suite”, which compared to the area it probably is. The accommodations were nice, views amazing, and adequate supply of linens/towels, etc. The bed was not very comfortable, but the outdoor furniture was nice. The tv seemed outdated with bad sound and subpar picture. The kitchen was well equipped, the hot water was endless and very hot with great pressure. There was an excessive amount of noise that came from outside in the hall, but I understand that’s difficult to control. The Building was old, dirty and run down but the suite itself was nice. Our overall impression of the area is that it’s pretty trashy in general. I don’t think we will be back to Myrtle Beach but it has nothing to do with the room. The space was very restful and we were happy to be on vacation.
This is a great value place to stay. Steve and Sarah recently remodeled the condo, and it looks very nice on the inside. The shower felt great after being on the beach! I know other reviewers have mentioned it, but the balcony is incredible. The couch and the large covered chair were both comfortable to sit on. I would stay here again, just to be able to use the balcony. I felt like a celebrity sitting out there, looking over the ocean. <br/>The condo was located in the Caravelle hotel, which is a little rough around the edges. The hotel hallways and the elevator were a little grungy. But that would not affect my decision to stay here again. I would absolutely, 100% stay here again. Steve and Sarah offered a great location to stay. I checked out the pool area, although I didn’t have time to swim both the pool and the hot tub looked clean. There was also a kids water park. <br/>I did not use the fitness center or any of the other amenities. I did buy some water bottles from the vending machines, which was convenient. Bring quarters and single $ bills! The vending on the 5th floor only took cash and it had to be $1 or quarters. <br/>Parking- there are two garages, but you’ll likely have to park in the garage across the street. I would drive up to the 3rd or 4th floor, because it was a little crowded during my stay. <br/>Check in- Steve and Sarah had a flawless check in process. It was awesome not having to keep track of a key!<br/>Location- the condo was in the Caravelle resort, which is between Myrtle Beach abs North Myrtle beach. I really liked the location, because it wasn’t quite as packed on the beach. There are other resorts located around the Caravelle, but not as many restaurants within walking distance. There is a Starbucks located in the Grand Cayman resort, which took me 7 minutes to walk to. I had to work on Friday, so I drove up to Barefoot landing and worked at Cafe de Paris. I highly recommend both the cafe and barefoot landing! Lots of cute shops, such as Ron Jon’s surf shop, A Silver Shack, Blue Moon Trading Company, and Tiki Jim’s.<br/>All in all, a great place to stay! Thank you Steve and Sarah for hosting me.
Excellent oversized balcony/deck over looking the beach; easy access to beach, pools and parking; good communication with owners; they even facilitated early check-in for us.
Great view (the pictures in the listing are accurate), easy beach access, nice patio furniture. A few missing touches that place this in a four-star category for me.<br/>• Only basic channels and no media player. Obviously you're here for the beach, but after a long day it would be nice to put on a flick and relax. Instead there is only a small selection of channels with poor reception.<br/>• If you plan to cook, you might want to bring your own cooking supplies. There is only one knife and it's tiny and dull. No brushes or sponges were provided, only dishcloths. No cooking oil was available, but there was salt and pepper. Coffee-pot was tricky to get set up correctly.<br/>• Nothing that the hosts can do about this, but the ice machines are not on every floor (only even-numbered) and most of them were not working.<br/>I would stay here again but probably wouldn't plan to cook, and might bring my own coffee pot!
The sun deck, the beach access and the incredible sunrises make this an excellent place to stay!
The place looks just like the pictures. It was also clean and instructions were well organized. The only disappointment I had was the balcony. It's still had an amazing view with great space and furniture but the pillows were dirty, a couple of them were on the ground and a few pieces of trash (I assume it's probably from the floor above?) Besides that, the place is beautiful and great for a getaway! I would definitely recommend this place.
This was a perfect place for us! We stayed 3 nights, my mom, myself, and my 3 year old. The balcony was amazing! We ate out there every day! Great getaway!

Beautiful, clean condo, perfect for two. I really enjoyed the outdoor space, I took three naps on the lounger. The kitchen was just large enough and again I can't say enough about the patio!
This place is just lovely. Huge balcony was what sold me. As a morning person, it's so nice to wake up, listen to the ocean waves and sea gulls while sipping my morning coffee waiting for the sunrise! What a beautiful treat. Self check-in was easy and close to parking lot and elevator to beach access. Publix store is 5-min drive and there's a Starbucks within walking distance. <br/>It's a nice little place that has everything to offer. I would definitely stay there again!
The view is Amazing. I loved waking up to a view of the ocean everyday and being only steps away from the beach. <br/>The condo is centrally located, close to so many great places.<br/>Steve & Sarah were amazing hosts very responsive and considerate. I never had to wait too long for a response.<br/>Heads up the water gets really hot really quickly it makes for AMAZING showers... just be careful. 🙂. <br/>Parking and check in were both super easy.

The view is incredible! I loved being oceanfront and being able to walk out and see the ocean. I would say the larger balcony is nice. Keep in mind it is not private at all and you are at the mercy of the smells and noise from everyone beside and above you. If you are non-smokers like us you will have an issue being outside when there are people lighting up all around you. The kitchen had what we needed for our stay and we had enough towels and linens for our short stay also. Very responsive. Clean. Good location. Resort a bit outdated so hit and miss as far as upkeep.

We had a pleasant stay in this unit. Would recommend dehumidifier for very rainy days. Smaller than pictures but very tastefully decorated and comfortable enough for three, would not recommend any more than three. Bring quarters for laundry, coin machine out of commission. Plan to do at least one load of towels if staying more than 3 nights. Beautiful view and balcony, we enjoyed having coffee there every morning. Would recommend bringing extra paper towels and toilet paper if staying more than 3 nights. All basic kitchen needs provided. Thank you for hosting us!
This condo was exactly what was needed for our anniversary get away. The only thing we would have changed was for the unit to have a more private balcony however all things considered it was a great unit for our stay.
Steve and Sarah got us in last minute after our accomodations elsewhere fell through. They were quick to respond to my questions. The condo is updated, clean and quiet. The large outdoor space is the selling point!

Steve and Sarah are wonderful hosts. They are very quick to respond and attentive. <br/>The room is nice. Just be ready for a motel-style property with lots of kids and very difficult parking. <br/>Pros and cons for sure.
Steve and Sarah were easy to contact and gave us tips on local dining. The unit has an oversized oceanfront balcony which is simply awesome! We spent a lot of time on the beach during the day and had some great dining each evening that was conveniently located. We highly recommend this listing for any couple that wants a great romantic getaway or even to just recharge.

The balcony makes this place! A perfect view of the ocean and a private sunbathing spot until shade hits mid afternoon. <br/>The place is a bit more expensive than the rest of the places on the beach with similar room amenities but the balcony makes it worth it. <br/>The room is nice with fun beach decor. It is setup very much like a hotel room with a full kitchen. Everything was clean and overall very functional for the little time we were inside. It would be tight for more than 2 people. <br/>Our hosts were very responsive and check in/out was simple.

Great location, with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The Air bnb was unreal, nicely decorated. Didn’t have any problems so I didn’t need to contact the hosts. I will definitely be back to stay here again

This is a very beautiful and most of all clean unit. Everything you need is right in there. I suggest going to the grocery later LOL we had a LOT of food because the husband thought we would eat in a lot. That didn’t happen. The location is great. Everything is a short drive from the unit. The only suggestion is if you don’t see parking spaces by the fourth floor you may want to turn around because there is no turn around on 5 or at least a very small space to turn around. The parking across the street is convenient and not out of the way.
Sarah’s condo was great as far as the condo being updated and cute! The location was also great as you are steps from the beach with an amazing view off the balcony. The resort itself is pretty rundown and could use some major updates. Also the patio furniture was really comfy to lay on but was a bit dirty just from wear and tear I’m sure! Sarah was super quick to respond to any questions and had a lot of suggestions on places to go. :) overall it was a nice weekend getaway!

The pictures don't do it justice. It definitely looks like the pictures but even better in person. I would definitely stay again it was very nice and cozy I recommend to couples and anyone single that definitely needs a get away this was it.

Great location with outstanding amenities onsite. Room clean, with all the creatures of home. Great oceanfront condo with extended balcony to enjoy and feel the ocean breeze.<br/>Pools (3) and spa’s (3) both indoor and outdoors, exercise room, game room, restaurant on site and centrally located to all the attractions Myrtle beach has to offer.<br/>Sarah was a great host, so if you’re thinking of a great place to stay while in Myrtle Beach, all I can say is “This is it”.
Beautiful place, It was a bit smaller than the photos make it look. We had a lot of fun and she had great recommendations. The space is very nice and homey! Would recommend to anyone.
Sarah's place was clean and nicely decorated. It had a great location with beautiful ocean views. <br/>While this is no fault of the host, the amenities of the resort are not well kept. The fitness center machines did not work and most were rusted over. There are many small pools available for use. However both the spas were not working correctly. No fault to Sarah but if you are choosing this location based on the perks you may be disappointed. <br/>This location fell a bit short of the homie touches, perks and charm of staying at an Airbnb. While the room was cute we were not provided the comforts of home. We also travel looking for local hot spots and eateries and Sarah did not provide us a clever guide to the city. Overall we loved our stay but would have enjoyed these touches.

This 5th-floor studio has an open layout with a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa for additional guests. The living area flows to your oversized private balcony through sliding glass doors. The balcony is the real highlight - it's large enough for a sectional sofa and lounge chair, giving you your own private outdoor living room with ocean views.
The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and updated finishes.
